A place of my own

Making room for more than finished work.

A portfolio tells one part of a story: the things that got made. I want this website to have room for the person making them, too.

That is the starting point for this new version. A home for my work, but also my thoughts, articles, and journals. Somewhere I can be a little more creative and share what has my attention.

More than the finished thing

Projects belong here. So do the questions around them, the ideas that are still taking shape, and the observations that don’t need to become a project at all.

I don’t want every visit to end at a list of things I can build. I want there to be something to read, something to look at, and a little more of me to find.

Keeping it simple

I still like a modern black-and-white foundation. Clean typography. Enough space. A page that is easy to spend time with.

But simple doesn’t have to mean without color. The brands I work with have their own identities. Photography, images, and other visuals can bring their own character into a story. I want the site to make room for those things.

A place that can grow

Some pieces here will be longer articles. Others will be short journal entries. The work will sit alongside them.

This is a beginning: a place for what I make, what I think, and who I am.
